Blue Star Families is a membership organization for military families (active-duty, National Guard, Reserve, and veteran). Local chapters host social events, deployment support, spouse career networks, and military-civilian community-building. Their annual Military Family Lifestyle Survey, conducted with researchers at Syracuse University's Institute for Veterans and Military Families, is the largest dataset on military family well-being in the United States.
