Vet Centers (VA Readjustment Counseling)

Vet Centers are community-based counseling centers operated by the VA's Readjustment Counseling Service. They offer free, confidential individual, group, family, and bereavement counseling for combat veterans, sexual trauma survivors, and bereaved military families. Records are kept separately from the VA medical system and are not shared without written consent. Staff are typically combat veterans or licensed clinicians with military experience. More than 300 locations nationwide, plus 80 Mobile Vet Centers.
